Cornetto Anyone?

Anyone fancy a Cornetto? We've got Strawberry, Original and Mint.

The Cornetto Trilogy. Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End. They are such a classic series of films that I just had to draw something about them. So here's my tribute. Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright and Nick Frost really did a great job with these parodies of their (and my) favourite movie genres. Its hard to pick a favourite out of them, and if you have one, I think its probably because you have a favourite type of movie that matches up. In fact, just thinking about which is my favourite is making me want to go and watch them all again. Just for research purposes obviously!

While watching TV the other day and an advert for Admiral Car Insurance came on. This is only going to make sense if you live in the UK I'm afraid but geography still counts for something in this world so there you go. I was idly thinking to myself that the only admiral I was ever bothered by was Ackbar and this idea just appeared straight away. I started sketching everyone's favourite Mon Calamari admiral, and in the end I was pleased enough with my doodling to turn into something a bit more polished up.

So here it is. A fairly weak joke based on a UK only insurance firm released into the wide world of the internet. Sounded like a great plan at the time.

Loki - Great for mischief, mayhem and er, building things?!

A nice simple one this time. Loki is the mischievous god from Norse mythology who likes to cause a bit of trouble now and then. Just like those plastic building blocks that look so innocent during the day but at night seem to be made of razor blades and always find their way directly under your feet.
