About Dan

I've always loved drawing and throughout school I spent far too much time doodling in my exercise books. Somehow I managed to still get a decent education, but still no real idea of what to do once I left school. I ended up taking art and then graphic design courses at college until I emerged into the world with a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design. I put this to use in getting a job and then proceeded with all the usual stuff of buying a house, getting married and having a child.

Now I find myself with more time and a lot more enthusiasm to put into drawing pictures. So I made myself a blog, because as everyone knows, thats the first step towards getting your illustrations seen. Next comes a lot more drawing!

Things have moved on a bit since I first wrote that lot up there. It turns out that although a blog was the first step, there were a lot more steps and they all turned out to be fun too! Zazzle and Redbubble, although a good place to start, are not the only places on the internet to sell silly designs like mine. My Etsy store is now the main focus of my efforts. Its like I'm running a real business and everything, which would have been a ridiculous dream not so long ago! Of course my designs are also available in other places like Neatoshop, Teepublic and DesignbyHumans. The Doodle Dojo Store is still the place to find all the links and info you need (it gets updated much more regularly than this blog!)

I am available for commission (most of the time!) so drop me an email to slowdan01 @ gmail . com. Just let me know what it is you are looking for and we will work something out.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time for a look, its very much appreciated. If you want to get in contact, leave a comment, visit me on Facebook, go to my profile for my email or follow me on TwitterInstagram or even Google+ if you're that kind of person. Get in touch. I'd love to hear from you, whether its about a commission or a critique!
